Today I was getting some Euros and forgot my Baseball Cap, but I was like no I wanted to let it go of it because it was stained and it didn't sit properly on my head and so thought "No it is time to let it go".
It wasn't important to me anymore and I have other caps so it was like I felt its time to say goodbye and my focus was getting the Euros.
I suppose it sounds careless but I felt it was right and now I have one less item to worry about. It gave me less to think about and if someone else picks it up then great its gone to another owner, but it was stained inside, so I doubt it.
When getting rid of items I find difficult so I think to myself, will it ever get used. I have bodyspray I bought to try and I not keen on the smell and it spilt in my bag only just bought it and so going to go through and get rid of it. I like to not waste paper and think what else could that be used for and its like photos so I have basically stuck photos on my bedroom with blue tac and used a box as a frame and created a card as decor of a photo of my son and I hate waste.
I am a sucker for storage bins, but it is how I remember what it is I have got and there are a few items I will be letting go of and hopefully be getting my shelf put up soon, but yes there are things I want to get rid off and just gathering dust and I know I am not going to use.
I have bought a fruit squeezer and have not gotten it out of its box and I have no idea why. I have oranges waiting to be squeezed but have I? NO. I feel this is hoarder code and need to decide to let go or will I use it? I am super indecisive and I feel its going to still be sitting there.
There are books I still got to read and I want to collect classics. I just love classical stories especially children's books and it takes me back.
Is the past we dwell on that makes us feel attached to things and find it hard to let go?
But now I realising that letting my cap go was a good decision. I want to have less its just taking time but I am realising what is important and what is not.
So I am do a food series at the moment on my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Carriechalloner and have started to put a vlog together of what I want to get rid of and do a declutter series because I know it will motivate me and want to change my habit of storage and decide what I truly want to keep, does it have a place? Who else might want it? and what is my next path and will it fit into it?
