Get ready for a new year

Planning my content

I will be getting my content planned more for 2022 and organize when I will be writing my blogs and set up my projects better and it is good to make changes when something isn't working anymore or needs to be better.
I love the fact that anyone in the world are reading my content and watching my Youtube video.

Setting out my goals

When it comes to setting my goals I do this quarterly and use this time of the year to start thinking about them and one is to do some fundraising events again, and want to get back into running again and find a new fitness plan that I can stick too. I can imagine that there are others who want to do the same, and it to be suitable for your life.
I am guilty of comparing and not feeling good enough and has been a progression to look at myself in a positive light and that everyone is different and that is okay.

Reflecting

I like to reflect on each year and how I felt it went and what will I do differently for the next year and what I loved and enjoyed. It should be based on the different things in my life and how I can improve in many different areas of my life.

Completing tasks

I like to go through tasks not completed and needs to be finished. I do plan on doing another reset to get things completed and sort many of areas of my life out some more and what I want to do next.

For me this is important and map out my goals personal and work, and then play. I would like to go to more shows and visiting the theatre and take my son to more rugby matches, as he loves seeing the London Broncos who are are a rugby league club that I have followed for many years, and would like to go on a proper holiday.

There are still many things I would like to have in my life and that is having more books written and grow my blogs even more and do more to reach out and make a difference.

I want to meet more people and miss going out with friends and having a few drinks.

If you want to check out my Pinterest then you can, and have started creating pins for my Life coaching programme I have done for the last two years, the 2023 Project and so check out it out: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/thetypicalLondongal/life-coaching2023-project/

There will be further printables created for 2023 and let you know once these have been done.

I still want to focus on this year as it isn't ended yet and got tasks to complete before then like my book and doing another free course.

So what are your plans and what are you going to do for the new year? You can leave a comment below.

Doing a total reset/Get my life together 2022

This week I am going to be doing a total reset on Friday and sorting my stuff out and get rid of items I don't need and will be thinking about the environment as I do so, by any items in good condition I no longer want will be donated and don't end up on landfill.

I did a Autumn reset and if you'd like to see the content I wrote about this then you can by visiting my Youtube channel, Typical London Gal Carrie Holmes and on my blogsite: https://everyonecanbuildacastle.com

Autumn and winter are my months that I like to declutter and organize my life, having a tea or coffee and listen to some music and focus on one area at a time. I will be filming this and so will be up on my channel next week if I can. This time of year is busy for me with birthdays and events at my sons school it hard to keep up at times. However it will go up and want to decorate for Christmas.

I have shoes I haven't worn, and so going to find these and make choice on what I really think about if they will be worn, same with clothes and also with paper, and then it is my windowsill and just having good make over and get my life together.

That is something I feel I want to put together and make into a Reset Programme, and so I will speak more of this when I plan this and a good idea for he beginning of 2023.

I like getting my life together and making changes, and planning as we end 2022 to do more to reach you my audience and help you to get your life together too and inspire you.

My desk also needs to be cleaned and organized again, I do neglect it and need clean my keyboard and laptop so see when this can be done and see if I can get this done on Friday.

So what is your plans to organize and do you do this time of year? I'd like to know you can leave a comment below.

Managing life through half term

It is half term and currently my son is at a kids club and I have been doing a mental health course and trying to get it done before next week as my son gets two weeks and in the process of complete a book I am writing, which I did publish but still wasn't fully happy so been editing again, and so it has been a busy week so far.

Pictures from kidstart.co.uk

I am sure I can get it done it just means rescheduling and using my evenings on some days and what ever free time I have to get it done.

With half term I want to design a plan for next week, as my son gets two weeks, and so we will be exploring and going to make sure my camera is fully charged and film a youtube day in a life through it and I do have some videos to go up, and so going to see if I can get these up, and then I want to good some gift guides and I haven't had a look at any gift sets this year.

This I have to schedule and that is one tip I'd give is have a schedule in mind, even if it is written on a piece of tissue or a napkin, just set it out and Groupon and Voucher.com are good places t look for ideas deals on days out and experiences.

The other ideas are why not create things indoors, like me and my son play this game where I hide an object and he has to go and find it. He has loved this game from toddler age and still a favourite. I am going to take Henry using my Oyster card and you can get deals on travel, you can find this on rail enquiries and go on a bus late a night and walk around so he can see the Christmas lights in London and I loved doing this when I was a young child.

It is not about spending a lot of money but having fun and something they may like to do when your children have children, and continue to be passed down to create some wonderful memories that you and your kids can talk about in years to come.

So, I will say I hope you have had a good week with the kids off and will be writing more blogs as we get nearer to, dare I say it, Christmas. Yes it is soon.

Organizing on my birthday

Getting to grips with organizing can take its time, but I like the result at the end where the floor is clearish as I like to lay my shoes out and like a functional work space and got clothes to be put away. Yet today is my birthday and don't feel like doing much, but feel I can't do nothing, so I fancy doing a bit of admin perhaps edit a video and just do little bits. I am filming a day/week in a life and so this will be going up probably next week, and it still doing something and document today.

If I find I don't want to do as planned then I am going to be okay with that for today. I did write a mini list so I am not having total break, but again see how I feel. I find when it is my birthday that I want to something different from the norm, and today was planning on doing a long walk, but hopefully I will to do this next Monday so going to be on hold, but still do some walking and fancy looking around the shops, but again may leave that and getting myself a donut with a coffee and taking eating it at my son's house in Epsom.

You only get one birthday and so not going to waste today, and tonight I am going for a meal at Wagamma's and perhaps have a cocktail and then it is back home and get ready for the Wednesday, and so gonna take my time and see how I feel and make the most of what I want to do and worry about what I need to do for the rest of the week.

When it comes to organizing it is important to have rest days or a night off and so for that is usually Saturday's and this includes social media, I only like to post on my Instagram, but everything else I leave until the week, or on a Sunday.

So if it is your birthday too, then Happy Birthday.

Re-organize your life

I feel like this week has stopped in that I can't focus on anything else because of following the news of the Queen and Royal Family, and because I am doing a course this week and so been a different kind of week.

The one thing I have been sorting out is my google calendar and would like to do more and love my weekly block schedule I created. This is available on my blog: http://everyonecanbuildacastle.com/2022/09/01/autumn-reset-day-1-sorting-out-my-life-and-getting-balance/

It is good to have a change of routine as it can be boring doing the same thing everyday and so I do like to mix it up, example I have been using my mornings to catch up with the news and whilst travelling listen to music, as I was carrying my laptop didn't want to hunt for my reading book. I would like to do some more reading today, and yesterday I had a large lunch because I was going out late in the day to visit my son's school.

Today I will be late home because my son's dad has to go to his college and so it means making sure I complete my training in good time. I did get to see my son off to school this morning, and so I am pleased about that as I will be spending more time with him after he has finished school.

It is ok if plans change as they can, it could be that your child is sick and so will have to pick them up from school, or like the Queen someone in your family have passed away and it is amazing how professional and dignified the Royal Family are, as it is if they have to time to grieve but concentrate on their duty as the Monarchy.

So organization to me can be sorting out change to spend more time with family not just about getting to do lists done, and making sure that you have time to yourself too.

Getting ready for the new school year 2022

Yes the schools are open and it feels strange after 6 weeks holiday as you get used to the routine of the summer holidays, only for it to change again. I don't mind though it means I can take time in the mornings again and spend time with my son each day and today me and Henry are going to make a cake.

It is good to spend this time to do homely things and sort stuff out. At the moment I am doing a Autumn Reset, which I have created to do a sort of, of areas that need to be sorted out, preparing for the new season and used to call it a Autumn Clear up, but it is the same. It is going through my laptop, my room and closet to get stuff ready for the colder months and be get rid of items I that no longer adds value to my life, and I enjoy doing this, it means starting a fresh.

I would like to get a autumn mug, but want to save more and get ready as this is the birthday season for me. My mums, my brothers, Henry, sister in law and step dad, so its time to budget and then Christmas yes, sorry I had to mention it, and I know neither am I fully ready and the fear of it, is rising.

It means making sure Henry has enough uniform and ordered some new tops for when he does P.E, but they haven't arrived yet and so got that to worry about and could do without but remember, no use worrying as it doesn't fix it, it just adds salt to the wounds and I have chased it up, so I hope they turn up and if not will be emailing until they reply and it gets sorted out.

Getting to grips with what my son will be learning this year and I thought this was tomorrow but it isn't and will be next week. I am looking forward to hearing about what he will be learning this year and do some fun educational games ourselves and going to make some sheets for him and go through other means of him learning and getting to grips with his education to improve his ability even more.

Keeping track is important so I know what areas he needs to build on and be on the same page as my sons school and work together.

It means making sure I get to Epsom on time waiting for him to return from school and helps to get things done whilst travelling and so going to use the time wisely and help me help him. So it means reading a book, going through my emails and listening to music, and so having quiet time ready for when he arrives as he likes to play as soon as he gets in.

I want to continue to help Henry learning about the seasons again and the months of the year and so going to set a plan for him and me and will share on my Parenting blog The parenting adventures tips and tricks.

So lets get to it, school has returned and got to get bits done before I have to travel to wait for him to come home.

Having a day off

When it comes to organisation, it is important to include days off. It is so easy to go into overdrive to put things away, dust a shelf or clear off the computer, to make space for other content to be done and ready to upload, that we tend to forget and get so overwhelmed with getting stuff done.

Why can't it wait? Noones going to remember that you missed a sock to wash, or you forgot to dust a windowsill, and take time on other things, like having a nice hot bath and paint your nails and just allow yourself to look after the body and the mind.

I can't be on the laptop all day, because my laptop has a tendency to crash, and I was getting neck ache so took myself away, to sit on a sofa in the living room, where I live and watch some TV.

Everyone needs a break so as much as it is important to get the laundry done, it also time to sit down and relax. Never fight tiredness or what your body is saying to you, and make yourself number one, as some time away can be the best thing you could do. Rest your mind and body, and have a good body and skincare routine.

I love watching Youtube videos, after I have had a shower, shaved my legs and sit in front of my laptop, to put cream on my face and body. I find it so relaxing and just unwind.

Rest and sleep is just as important as looking after your kids, and managing your home. Set a time to give yourself some self love, and do a bit of reading. I like going to a local park and sitting the garden whilst my son goes to a kids club, and read a book. I like travelling by bus and reading my book, also I like to listen to an audiobook. Whenever I have time to do other things aswell as writing blogs, I take it.

I love to write and love blogging but being on my laptop all day long can cause burnout and becomes an errand, which I am not going to allow this to be. So I will have a day off and so should you, just as important to look after others, we need to put ourselves first too.

Looking after the home

So this week I have been spending time on my own and forgot what is like to looking after a home, and am doing so as my mum and step dad are away and sometimes these, from experience tend to be taken for granted.

Sunday and Monday's are my RESET DAYS, where I will tidy up, and sort out my bedroom, strip my son and mine bed, washing clothes and this week been having to remember to water the plants and flowers inside and out, and this is an area where I have often forgot to do. I am not very good at wildlife and looking after it, so written into my list so I do remember.

I know if  I don't write it down it won't get done and I do a list for the week and each day. This helps me stay on track.

This means also means having my meals for the day, and I do like food shopping, and always budget on items I need like, and have been tempting to have a takeaway but stopped myself and make the food I would order from a fast food outlet, for myself. Like this evening as I write this blog, I had chicken nuggets with chips, and diet coke. Tomorrow it will be steak and roasted vegetables, and make homemade wedges.

I do plan my meals, not on paper but in my head and I do make a list, and I sorted out my clothes too, and getting rid of piles, and no this doesn't include having hard pooh.

It so good to have a room less decluttered, and I know a lot talk about it, that it clears the mind, but it is so true and it is doing these habits that help me get through the week and days. It takes me ages to get started, but once I am awake will spend that time having a tidy up, and I selected Tuesday's after I have done my TA training that I am doing at the moment, to have a sort out in one area, whether a device or physically in my room, and so tomorrow I am going to do just that. I have not chosen an area, but will take care of it tomorrow, and it feels good to have space.

It so good to have my bin cleared, just got a few things for recycling and then going to take my shower and still do some work, but will have time on my hands to do so.

Getting passed the first week of Summer Holidays

Today because my son came back with me in Wimbledon kept thinking it was a Friday and did a lot in one day, but now he, my son is a sleep I get a bit of time to myself and today was a success. I know sounds like I am being smug, but I am not, just happy to have gotten through the day.

Me and Henry when he was about two years old

Tomorrow I start some new training and so my mum will be looking after my little lordship, but then back with him on Wednesday and more time outdoors for him to get as much fresh air as possible and have lots more fun. Then on Thursday I am taking him to the London Aquarium, and going to be an adventure because I think there is going to be destruction on the trains, but never mind that is life in London. There is always issues, so you get used to it.

You just have to try your best and so it does go as planned never mind there is always a next time. Well so I tell myself.

When it comes to living in London you do have to plan ahead, so I will be checking alternative routes just in case.

This morning whilst we got ready for the day I put on some songs and we did a bit of dancing in the Living room and would recommend it. Good to get the energy going and not allow my tiredness from getting up early to get to me, even though I was laying down on the sofa partly, but then my son wanted to join me and forgets how heavy he is now.

It is good to spend time doing different things rather the same old thing everyday. It does get boring so more adventures and going to get myself to bed, and rest up as we get through this first week and have more things planned and then he will be spending time with his dad and so will get a break.

Any how it is has been a good day and I hope you did too.

Is it time for TV? Getting rid of the weeks pressures

I had scheduled to write blogpost today, but due the time 18:38, I feel tired so was going to leave it, but I made a commitment and wanted to stick to it. I know if I don't do it I will feel this guilt that I have going to have a list of items not ticked off.

I feel very lethargic and know that it is coming to the end of the week and so it is time for some TV, well England Ladies are playing so got to get my priorities right.

It is good to have some good TV time as it helps to wind down the week and I don't watch TV everyday so why not? Life is about living and so it is a must you have some play time, watching sport and plan the week of things to watch. I admit that I watch a lot of Youtube as I do have my own channel and was how I got into it. You can find my channel via this link:

This is good to sit and watch TV with a friend or family as it can be so relaxing and why not set the time to have a bath, read a book with the TV at the background, and with a glass of wine.

You have to have days when you do something different and because I have some time on my own tonight going to make the most of it.

So get rid of the weeks pressures and demands and just put the to do list aside for some time to be with the remote control and some peace.

Getting ready for The School Summer Holidays

Yes they are close and it is a time where I will travelling to and from London, going to local parks and what to do in terms of food and the schedule changing and working a lot in the evenings.

I have done a list of places I want us to go to and now need to a list of what to take out with me.

There will be days where will be spend time playing the garden but the majority it will be visiting London and I hope we get the chance to visit the English Coast. I haven't taken Henry on a holiday abroad yet, but something I would like to do at some point, but not sure as Henry isn't good with the heat.

It will be making sure I have plenty of sun cream and wearing light weight clothing.

We may get the paddling pool out and having a BBQ I hope on some of the days and hope the weather is glorious so this is possible for us to do, and looking forward to be able to go to a local park with an iced coffee and do a bit of writing and reading my book.

I am going to treat myself I have just decided to buy myself a new Swimming Costume as going take him to a local gym where I can take my son Swimming and then they have a Soft Play area too, and good to do if it is raining and to get out of the heat.

What I like to do is to check if the place we visit do have toilets, have area where we can grab a drink and if they do food to have lunch outdoors.

Then there is cream for bites. I have been bitten by sitting by the River Thames in Putney and swelled up and so had to the doctors and was given medication for it, so be aware when near the river you buy cream for insect bite should this happen and if it is near a medical centre or has a local pharmacy should you need to pick up bits in case you didn't pack these items or forgot any items.

I will being do more blogs about the Summer Holidays to give tips and if you have any suggestions of where to go and what good to pack, please leave a comment below.

Organizing my life 2022

So this week I have really been sorting my stuff out, and have a reset. So basically going through my computer and online, this morning before I had my first cup of tea sorted out my clothes, and yesterday when I got back from spending some time with my son, is tidy and clean my desk.

It is good to get Organized even though I do put it off. I find any excuse, so hence why this morning I tidied my clothes, and setting myself a challenge, I am sorting out one area a day, and works everytime I challenge myself to do this.

There is structure in this too, and that is I will take note of what I want to sort out and just little bits can make such a difference, that it becomes like walking, you end up doing a sort out everyday.

Avoiding is not the answer, but doing a huge amounts, it can demotivate, and I wish I had a hiding place sometimes or be able to click my fingers, but not possible. It has to be done for mindset. Sorting my stuff out does help to clear my mind.

Looking at my tidy desk gives me a burst of good energy, that doing it is the hardest thing, but seeing the results is encouraging and helps me to keep it going, and get my life back on track.

At the moment I am listening to a youtube video, by Kate Kaden on 30 Easy Frugal Habits, and these type of videos are really helpful, and gives me a boost of energy to sort out my life. I have started to organize my finances better with sorting one area of my life that I feel needs changing, and I check my bank balance all the time now, and jot down what money has gone where and how I can save. I am all about #frugalliving

So if there are areas in your life that needs changing, then do it by challenging yourself too.

Organising and Managing my finances

Hello and welcome! Thank you if you have been reading my other blogs on this site, it really means a lot.

In this blog I am talking about Organizing and Managing my finances. Now the one thing I have been doing to help save my money as that is it the first tip,

1. Check out my bank account everyday and plan what I need to buy each month and week. I have two birthdays this month coming, June and so always plan and look to see what I can buy as, my niece has a lot of clothes as like I did, have a lot of "Hand me downs" and saved me a lot of money. The other birthday is my son's dad and so again planned ahead and will be buy his gift tomorrow and already bought a card.

2. Keep gong through what is coming in and what is going out, by checking my bank balance daily, and make sure I work out when and what bills are due.

3. Budget, Budget and Budget. I watch a lot of videos on Youtube by Kate Kaden, who does weekly videos about being frugal and money tips to help the everyday person.

4. Keep tabs on items I spend money on but don't use, and either keep or let it go. I do the same with my clothes, go through what I have worn and not, and give myself an allowance for myself. I also buy second hand and this really helps me save. I love buying and making a saving. Example: I challenge if I can buy the same items, and if it is good quality can I get an item second hand or if the store is having a sale, can I get that item I want, at much lower price.

5. If I can pay items in cash I will, and carry an amount with me, so if I have the option then will use cash and track my debits I make.

I don't use expansive software to keep tabs on my money but in a notebook. I did put together a financial planner, but didn't really use it, so I use a notepad and keep that, so i can go back to it and I have done many lists on a back of an envelope.

It is all about investing and no money is wasted.

What Things we must have in our lives

I have always liked stuff, and had to try an minimalist approach, and had to get rid of books, video tapes and scrapbooks and regretted it.

People say you shouldn't have regrets, but I do. I loved having items I can look back on and continued to make more scrapbooks. It is a good way to store memories, but then it is the realisation, do I look at them?

Yes I do!

So, what things must we have in our lives?

1. Items that solve a problem: What I mean is things like Instruction manuals for items we presently use in our home, but items that we don't can be disposed of and added to recycling.

2. Items that we still nurture: Example: Photos and cards of our children as babies, like I have kept Henry first shoes he wore, that were bought from Clarks, and would love to put these on a shelf with other items he used as a baby.

3. Items that create a good routine: This can be having your cup of tea at a certain time. I like in the morning before I actually get up, to go in the bathroom and brush my teeth as I like to have a good breath and feel self conscious when not doing so. It sets up my day and then will shower and do a bit of self care.

4. Items that help us to relax: This for me is right now as I write this blog post, and listening to music and have to play a few songs in the morning before I get up each day and before I go to sleep. I find it soothing and do have a good nights sleep.

It is all things that has a meaning behind it and creating self love and care, and celebrating what we have in our lives that makes us who we are today, and keep creating love in our lives, and makes you sit back and open doors to you all over the world and the place you are now.

Organizing post Easter Holidays

I feel I need to write this because I think with everything going on in Ukraine the world, I want normality and to continue on, but it is hard. I feel guilty that I am able to have normality when there are people fleeing for their life because of war.

I do watch the news now, I would avoid it but it has a funny way that keeps you captured and that is why I acknowledge it. I want a happier world and have peace like most of us want, and everyone is able to get on with their lives.

In this blog I am talking about organizing post Easter Holidays, as you may have kids with a lot of Easter Eggs, and the one I bought for my son, I am going to give it to him tomorrow or Saturday, as if you have eggs for family, but you weren't able to see them, arrange a day nearby that you can still have Easter shared with them.

Have a Easter Egg shelf that can be clearly seen and not forgotten and allow them time in the day to have some of them, but not eating all of them at once. It doesn't have to be all about the eggs, receiving a scented candle to light to celebrate Easter the son of god if you believe in it. My mum put in sets of pretend kids glasses and have funny hats included and masks, with Easter theme, like a bunny, or a hen.

Recycle the packaging the Easter eggs came in and use a large box to store them in and if you have kids set chores for them to do, to earn their eggs and eat them.

Put names on each of the boxes and eggs, so you know who is who's and saves any arguments trying to workout who's who.

Use uneaten chocolate eggs into to a dessert or a cake, like rice cakes. I love these and if I see these in a coffee shop always invest with a coffee and is something I have loved since I was a kid. Make a chocolate pie and or cupcakes with mini eggs on top, and then nothing goes to waste.

Make it an occasion, like a movie night and they had have piece of their Easter Eggs as a treat rather than popcorn and after dinner time, I have a rule that I am not allowed any chocolate until after lunch and in the morning unless I have treated myself with a pastry.

Dedicate a scrapbook for the special holidays within the year and good to look back on previous Easter Holidays or a collage that you can put up on a the wall to store those family fun memories.

Organizing Your Time

If you are new this blog then welcome. This blog is all about Organizing your time.

Being a writer it is important I give myself a good amount of time to get many things done. Like now as I started this blog remembered I have laundry drying in the bathroom, I wanted to film a day in a life on my Youtube channel but my camera needs charging, and so will need to reschedule, but do have other videos I want to film instead whilst my camera's battery charges and then I have some online training to do, as I am helping with a half term holiday club, and want to write some blogs and work on my next book.

If you'd like to check out my main Youtube channel then you can via this link:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUDFIqjVKLy7NhtcR6Hy0Tg

When it comes to time I make sure even like today when I don't have to do the school run still set an alarm and it is at 9:30am but I know I will get up early than that, but just in case. I have never been one that likes staying in bed all day, when at one time that was exactly what I was doing.

I would take my son to school and then come back and go straight to bed and get up at 1pm to do some cleaning before picking my son up from school.

It was not healthy as I was not doing anything and I'd feel guilty and so now I have a good routine that I am able to stay with.

I then got myself out of that routine, and needed to change that habit, and habits can make a difference to our time, because it felt that days were fading away from me and couldn't get my arse in gear. I felt more fatigued, even with staying bed all of the day, and made me not want to accomplish anything.

So when it comes to organizing your time, set yourself just a few goals and today wrote down 5 things I want to get done before the end of the day.

I do schedule and have a planner and plan my weeks as each week comes and often day to day. As long as each have a purpose I get it done, and that is the key to organizing time, because I like many people, I need structure, and so I make sure I go through the day ticking things off and take it in a slow and steady pace, giving myself breaks in between.

It isn't all about how fast we can get things done, but what I can accomplish that will set me up for the next day and the next, and the next, so your life is on a steady climb rather than going down and down.

So Organize for work to do errands around the house and time to play.

Have plenty of self care and fun. I make sure that when my son comes home that I have spent time writing notes as I don't take my laptop with me, but I always have a notebook and have tasks I can do and I give myself time to wind down and go for a walk somewhere and just getting the most of each day.

I hope you find this email helpful and have a good rest of the week.

Picking 4 things to do each day

Hello and welcome to a new blog I have been taking a break but now am back and spend time to update my blogs on this site, as since I first wrote this blog so much has changed. I have been working on other tasks and another year has gone and now it is 2024, and Christmas is over, I had to write fewer blogs but now we are back, my son is back at school, I now have enough time to write more and start getting back working on my blogs.

Since my last blog I have been listening to videos by a fabulous woman, Mel Robbins and she writes four things she wants to do each day and I have been trying this myself and has been successful.

I do this everyday and not allow things to get too much now, and listening to Atomic habits, started doing 2 minute habits, like reading, writing and tidying.

This doesn't have to be done using any fab software or computer programme I write mine down in a notebook and software already installed free on my laptop, OneNote and so, give yourself 4 things you want to do each day. Wanting is important and not about what I must get done as these words even writing them doesn't inspire me, but having items I want to do has helped make sure I completed those four things.

It can be anything, mine today was to:

  • Catch up on Youtube
  • Work on my books
  • Pick up kitchen towels
  • Edit a vlog I have filmed
So get organized and remember it is about quantity and breaking up tasks to do each day is #bettereasyliving

Letting stuff go

It takes a lot for me to let stuff go and I admit it, I am a hoarder, but I know for my wellbeing that I need to. I do the method of when I want new items I need to declutter something I no longer need and be rid of items I already have and have no use for anymore.

I go by the method of when I leave my room to not leave empty handed if something needs to be desposed of and if it can be recycled.

Doing one bit at a time helps me and so I don't tidy all in one go as I know this demotivates me, but one bit at a time, check out my EBook called:

Things to Change one day at a time

Just making that one change can make all the difference and I will take a long look at it and ask myself could this do somebody else if it is in good condition or not and see if any family may want it or it gets given to be donated at a Charity shop.

So this week I got rid of some bags of mine and put one in the bin and another to be recycled with some items to be donated and even though they were nice bags I knew that I was using them for storage but that is why I use Storage boxes so it let them go.

It is because I want to invest in another bag I want that I have seen in a Charity shop and no it is better for me. I like rucksacks that have many compartments so have limited them down to two.

Books I have tried to clear but I no I can't let them go until I have read them, and that is another thing I do, I am real to myself of what items I can really let go and so I am making way so I have my books displayed as they are on a book case but also stored in a rucksack so this week I am going to be changing things around do I can get rid of that rucksack, so technically I still have 3 rucksacks but once this bag goes I am then owning two.

Letters, I find hard to clear but let go, because keeping old documents helped me get money through PPI, so I again I keep it and then it is sortiing them out into different categories.

When it comes to clothes can be tough for me but use the method of "Do I really need them and do I wear them and are the items I know I am never gonna wear?" this does help me in not overdoing it and I select items in my basket but leave them in their for a while and go over if I truly need to have the item now.

I don't what a overhaul of clothes but items I know I will get good wear out of it and lasts me a long time.

You should check out my site called carriesversitilefashion as I post on this site twice a week, Monday's and Thursday 's of fashion I like to wear and got my mind on in adding to my wardrobe.

Household items at the minute I don't need to worry about such things as I live back with family again but for me I don't like to have loads of items just enough of what I know I will use and what it will bring to me, and if any creates more clutter I put back on the store shelf.

It is a hard task but when I see a good set of items not overflowng I feel good and going to have a massive change that will help to and see if there are more items I don't need.

How to get yourself organized for 2022

Hello and welcome, and Happy New Year.

So, Christmas has come to an end for another year and so everything you bought out has to be put away and glad I didn't have to worry about but when I have my own place I will, but not organizing the decorations worked and so what I had to worry about was the gifts.

I think because of the rush will do what I did before and plan it from January to December again as I hate having to rush around.

Saying that I was happy with the gifts I cbose but next year I want to do something different and create bundles and if I see something that would be great as a gift buy it to save myself a lot of time.

I am all about the time saving. Check out my video I did on my mystylewayofliving Youtube video

If it saves me the rush I do it, and that includes Christmas.

So now I have my budget to sort out and new content to focus on. It means more Days in a life videos, more Make up and chat videos and more blogs to write, and I have 3 youtube channels,

- typicallondongal

- mystylewayofliving

- carrieseducationalyoutubechannel

It means changing my image and tonight going to be dying more hair for a bit more of a confident boost and develop a different set up to film my videos and started today to have a clear out and got more bits to sort out in my old home, and sorting through my son's toys stored away.

So definitley time to start a fresh and start the year with a bang and finishes on a bang.
